Steven Richard Davis is a born and raised California native.  He started his music education at the age of 9 as a percussionist, and at 12 he picked up his first guitar to form his own band.

 

Steve went on to study music engineering, recording and production at California State San Marcos where he Graduated with a bachelors degree.  Steve found himself more interested in creating his own sounds and compositions in the studio than being on a tour bus with his band.  He decided to move to Los Angeles in 2006 to further his education in film composition at UCLA.  

 

Since then, Steve has worked along side a variety of great composers such as, Christopher Young, Trevor Morris, Brian Tyler, Benjamin Wallfisch, Steven Jablonski, Danny Elfman and Heitor Parrera.

 

Steve is now the owner SRD MUSIC , where he works to create unique music for various Film, TV, and commercial productions.
